At Christmas 2021 we held a Children's Christmas Crafts Party when Phoenix Farm Community Church and Gedling Play Forum got together to bring joy to lots and lots of our community children. The children made Christmas crackers and angels and also made iced biscuits etc. Further craft events will follow.
BAGS OF BLESSINGS
Bags of Blessings are a charity, local to Nottingham, which distributes donated gifts to deprived young people in the Nottingham area. Each Christmas we have a collection box in church and people donate small toys, stationery, books and items of confectionery. They are then distributed to young people aged 0-16 via food banks, homeless and refugee charities or organisations which support disadvantaged children. |
Hope Nottingham
Hope Nottingham is a Christian charity, which amongst other things supports many neighbourhood food banks across the city and we regularly collect and donate food to them, to include at our Harvest Festival. Local schools are encouraged to participate in this event.
