HOLY COMMUNION
Holy Communion is an important part of any Christian’s life and as Methodists we try to have at least one service of Communion a month. For us, the bread and wine are symbols of Christ’s body and blood, which he gave up freely for us at his crucifixion.
Holy Communion is a time of remembering Christ's sacrifice, that he died that we might have eternal life and that we are forgiven for all our sins when we truly repent, because he gave his life for us. Communion services are always beautiful and meaningful as we express our love of God through his son Jesus Christ, and we commit ourselves to trying to live as Christ taught.
As the Methodist church is a welcoming church, anyone is welcome to come to Christ's table to take Holy Communion. Gluten free bread is available upon request, and our wine is non-alcoholic.
If you would like to know more about this important sacrament, please contact one of the stewards or Ministers of the church.
